About

FEN Research GmbH (FEN Research), representing the Green Energy Center Europe, was founded in early 2019 as an independent non-profit Research and Development (R&D) organization according to the Union Framework 2014/C 198/01. It conducts interdisciplinary Research and Development and Innovation (R&D&I) regarding the reconstruction of the energy system towards climate neutrality and energy autonomy by means of electricity based on the “Power on Demand” and complementary “Power to Hydrogen” process. The two research laboratories operated by FEN Research are EWest focusing on the "Power on Demand" process and HyWest focusing on the "Power to Hydrogen" process.

Activities

• As the Tyrolean regional coordinator, FEN Research brings knowledge through its involvement in several European projects.
• As co-leader of WP3, FEN Research is contributing to the knowledge base of the project, including the development of data collection methods, data collection and analysis of skills and training programmes, and the development of the Hydrogen Competence Framework.
• FEN Research contributes to the strategic planning and implementation of the external dissemination activities during the project by taking the lead in the related tasks.
