About

Noorderpoort is a VET education centre in the province of Groningen, with 16 different schools spread across the region. Noorderpoort has approximately 14,000 students and over 1,400 employees. Noorderpoort prepares young people and adults for their role in society and the profession of their choice. The school aims to support them in way that helps them continuously develop and have the skills to be able to contribute to a sustainable society.

Activities

Noorderpoort is involved in all work packages and will especially contribute to the development of the WP 3 knowledge base, the WP 4 H2 VET Excellence Network and the WP5 skills, training and applied research. Noorderpoort is task leader for Train-the-Trainer in regional programmes and international workshops

Noorderpoort is one of the leading VET's in the Netherlands on hydrogen course development for basic education and live long learning in cooperation with industry partners. On national level we will scale up Train-the-Trainer in 2024 for six Dutch regions consisting of methodology, knowledge base, starting course, expert group and national coordination. So for H2 COVE we can make use of the experiences and frame work.
