About

TalTech Virumaa College is a regional academic institution located in Kohtla-Järve, Ida-Viru County, that contributes to high-level and competitive technical and engineering higher education and development and innovation activities. Virumaa College of Tallinn University of Technology has a central role in the H2COVE project, where it is responsible for piloting hydrogen-related courses and ensuring the quality of their educational materials.


Activities

The college is tasked with developing new curricula and educational materials that meet the requirements of the hydrogen economy and the needs of industry. In addition, the college trains teaching staff and provides advanced training for working professionals to ensure that their skills are up-to-date in hydrogen technologies. Virumaa College's role in the project is also to promote cooperation between local and international stakeholders in order to create a strong hydrogen skills ecosystem in Estonia. The cooperation includes various educational and research institutions and industrial partners, all of whom contribute to the achievement of a common goal - the promotion of the hydrogen economy.
