Vestland County Council (VCC) is a regional governmental authority with an elected council, responsible for economic and regional development, roads and public transport, upper secondary education, and skills policy. This also includes adult education, higher vocational college, career guidance, and business development. Additionally, VCC forms policy in public health, culture, sports, and integration. The council operates the upper secondary schools in the county and a Higher Vocational College and serves as the regional coordinator for VET and adult learning consortia. We are part of Erasmus+, which is the biggest education programme in the world. It provides opportunities for internships, work placements, courses, and participation in collaboration projects across Europe.

Activities

Vestland County Council serves as the project coordinator and has overall responsibility for project implementation, coordination, and results. VCC has employed a full-time project manager (PM) within the organization. The project manager handles daily operational activities and is supported by a financial officer in the same department. Both the project manager and the financial officer report to the Steering Committee, which is chaired by the coordinator organization.
