Successful Launch of the H2CoVE Train-the-Trainer Workshop in Tyrol
On March 10, 2025, the first H2CoVE Train-the-Trainer workshop in Tyrol successfully brought together regional educators and industry partners to explore the future of hydrogen technologies.
A special thank you to FEN Research GmbH for providing valuable insights into hydrogen technologies and Tyrolean H2 initiatives at the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck. The workshop also included an exclusive visit to the MPREIS hydrogen facilities in Völs, where participants gained firsthand experience of the hydrogen value chain, from production to end-use. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to examine an electrolyzer up close and discuss the technologies behind it.
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in informative sessions covering the entire hydrogen value chain, including storage technologies. A key aspect was the hands-on experience with hydrogen mobility, as participants traveled between Innsbruck and Völs using hydrogen-powered transport. Additionally, the Green Energy Center provided an in-depth demonstration of how hydrogen vehicles function, directly showcasing the technology in action. The workshop also served as a platform for interactive discussions, where educators and industry experts exchanged insights and provided valuable feedback for the ongoing development of vocational education programs in hydrogen technologies.
A big thank you to the engaged participants from HTL Kramsach, FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences, klasse!forschung & FEN Sustain Systems GmbH, whose contributions played a key role in making this event a success. We look forward to continuing our efforts in hydrogen education and shaping the future of sustainable energy!
